Who can join?

Any Christian who belongs to a recognised Christian church may join. People can register as:

• House Sitters
• Home Owners
• Both

If you register as a Home Owner

We help you find a Christian house sitter to live in your home while you are away. They care for your home and pets, and in return they enjoy a rent‑free holiday.

You save money by not paying commercial pet sitters or house‑sitting agencies, and you have the reassurance of knowing your home is cared for by a responsible Christian.

If you register as a House Sitter

You can travel and stay rent‑free in comfortable homes rather than expensive hotels. Your only expenses are travel and food.

You will also be introduced to the homeowner’s church and Christian friends if you wish.

What about safety?

We strongly advise homeowners to obtain two references before agreeing to a house sit. As this is a Christian site, members list their church connection, so one reference should ideally come from a church leader.

So what actually happens?

When you register as an owner, we list your house details (without the exact address) in the restricted section of our website, visible only to registered sitters.

We also email all registered sitters to notify them of new listings. Sitters can then click an enquiry button, which sends their profile to the homeowner. The homeowner chooses the sitter they prefer, checks references, and arranges the sit.

What does this cost?

Registration as a homeowner is free. Registration as a sitter is £25 per year.

All membership income supports a Christian Children’s Home in Kenya through TLC Children’s Trust.
